President & CEO
Christine Valdez is the President and owner of Valdez International Corporation. Mrs. Valdez oversees operations and is involved in all aspects of the Company. Before becoming President, Mrs. Valdez was the Administrative/Financial Specialist for three different companies, one of which she purchased ownership and changed the name to Valdez International Corp. Christine immediately focused the company on customer service, and emphasized that our employees are also our customers. Valdez’ policies of fast pay and fair benefits are largely responsible for the company’s’ rapid growth and strong reputation among both our customers and employees.
Senior Vice President of Operations
Clark Dyer has over 20 years of experience in non-profit and for-profit business operations, management education, and financial management. He has worked with firms across several industries, including the Harvard Business School, Sun Microsystems, and The Shaw Group. Clark has mentored numerous small businesses and has served the boards of directors of successful firms within the Small Business Administration’s 8(a) and Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business programs. He is a distinguished graduate of the Yale School of Management.
Vice President of Civilian Agency Operations
Jon Lovitt, with 35 years experience in progressive Information Technology experience including over 20 years of federal government contract expertise, serves as Vice President of Civilian Agency Operations for the Rocky Mountain Region, which currently includes Northern Colorado and Utah, as well as the Washington DC metro area. Mr. Lovitt is directly responsible for contract management and execution, customer relationship management, personnel management and recruitment. Our company success is due to Mr Lovitt’s well known and respected experience in Contracting including executive level business development and marketing.
Vice President of Department of Defense (DoD) Operations
Michele Steele serves as the Vice President of Department of Defense Operations for Valdez. She manages a full service office in Oklahoma City. Ms. Steele is directly responsible for contract management and execution, customer relationship management, personnel management and recruitment, marketing and business development. Prior to joining Valdez in 2001, Ms. Steele was a Project Manager for Science Applications International Corporation where she was responsible for customer relationship development and program management for Peterson Air Force Base in Colorado Springs. Ms. Steele also served seven years in the United States Navy, where she worked in Naval Intelligence. Her education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems Management from Colorado Christian University, and an MBA from Regis University, Denver, Colorado. She holds certifications in ITIL and as a Project Management Professional (PMP). She is a registered member of several professional organizations including AFCEA and the Project Management Institute.
